Jakub Benke

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE: He linked his career with the advertising in the 1994 when he started to work in the Lintas agency. Since 1997 he has been co-organizing a process of launching Polish office of Initiative Media, where he held the positions of Purchase Director and Member of Board. Since 2000 he has been a General Director and since 2003 also a President of Board in Starcom. In 2006 he became the president of Publicis Groupe Media in Poland. Jakub Benke takes part in the European Managing Committee of Starcom MediaVest. He is one of the leading Polish specialists in the field of marketing communication. He’s got several nominations for the Man of the Year in the Impactor. He is an author of many publications in the trade and economic press. He is a Member of the Supervisory Board of the Advertising Agencies Associations in Poland and a co-organizer of the Media Club within SAR. In 2007 he was the first Polish juror at the Cannes Media Lions Festival.
