Dean DeBiase is CEO of TNS Media, the leader in measuring the ability of marketing and media to influence and engage consumers. Through a global network of business units, his teams are creating next-generation digital services and analytics platforms to help advertisers, agencies and media organizations grow their businesses. DeBiase is one of the preeminent voices in the advancement of the innovation economy today. He has built industry leading consumer and business services companies in media, advertising, entertainment, technology and Internet industries. While focused on strategically profitable growth, he has also led private and public corporations through diverse value creation phases, including expansion, turnaround, M&A and IPO. Known as a new media innovator who takes companies to the next level of market leadership through acquisitions and organic growth, DeBiase has been the CEO of Fortune 500 subsidiaries and independent companies, including Autoweb, which he built into one of the most popular consumer sites, took public and merged with Autobytel to create the largest Internet automotive marketing services company. As CEO of The Imagination Network, an online games company which he sold to AOL, DeBiase repositioned the group into a leading social networking and entertainment brand, which comScore Media Metrix called “the number one games and entertainment destination.” In a dual role at Zenith LG, he directed brand strategy and digital TV industry initiatives as CMO, and as global head of the Cable TV division, he led a rapid turnaround of the group, which was credited for commercializing cable modems and helping create the broadband services industry. DeBiase served as CMO and President of two operating units at Anixter International, which won the NCTA’s Vanguard Award for innovation; and as one of the youngest Managing Directors at FedEx, he operated two business units and helped pioneer the company’s efforts into digital media services. As chairman of Startup Partners, a group that helps organizations tackle their most challenging issues and seize emerging market opportunities, DeBiase has served in corporate director, industry board and interim operating roles, including CEO of Fathom Online, a MIXX award winning search marketing analytics company that he sold to GI; CEO of FreeDrive, social media sharing network, which became a part of AOL; and CEO of CatchTV, a WebTV advertising platform, which became part of Liberty Media.
